MS is the obvious reason why I love PCs.

The OS, the design, the feel and ease of use. The looks you get from windows users;p its all priceless:cool:

Today was a perfect example of why I love Macs over PCs. We went to my dad's house for Father's Day, and I spend at least an hour booting into safe mode, recovering photos and videos from vacations/birthdays past, and attempting to revert XP to a previous state. Needless to say, the Dell is fried by some vicious kind of virus, and needs a complete reformat/OS install. As per usual, Dell didn't send the discs with the system (or my stepmom misplaced them), so there wasn't much else I could do. Her IT guy at work tomorrow might be able to get her up and running. She asked me what my advice was on the whole situation?

I said, "Get a Mac." :cool:

There's no apostrophe in PCs.

I like Macs more because they break more often. If everyone had a Thinkpad, I'd have to find a real job.

The design for sure. The industrial design that Apple puts into its products is impressive.

...and (although its slightly related to the OS) the Apple "ecosystem" of iTunes, iLife, MobileMe, the iPhone and even iWork is highly integrated and a delight to interact with. It all works together.

That second part can not be matched by another PC company. Sony has tried and failed. The only company that stands a chance at being able to do it is Microsoft and they are too focused on the enterprise and backward software compatibility to cover all the bases.

My girlfriend convinced me to get a mac. My pc was to a point where it was just dead, and I needed a new computer, and she said pc's were ****.

I can't say I agree with that last part, but yeah I definitely enjoy my macbook
