Round 4 has gone into Monday because of all the bad weather and Phil is tied for the lead.

I love the interwebz and their streaming coverage of this.
Now on Saturday I watched Trevor Murphy stand at +22. +22? I'd lay down and fake a ****ing heart attack at that point.

The iPhone app is KILLER for this. Since ESPN360 isn't available in my area, the app is saving me right now. Now, if only Phil could stop missing short putts in majors...

I'd settle for his game ;)
Best of luck to him and his wife though :(

I was on another forum hearing people wonder why a player couldn't hit the ball here or there and why players couldn't drive it straight on a certain hole
I am asking myself, have these people ever played golf? Or hell, been to a major event and seen the course?

Don't forget that the course has been saturated by rain for weeks. It is not going to read the way it normally should.

It's easy to be a pro golfer from your couch.
And the Black Course is even harder than the Torrey Pines course, which is said to be one of the most difficult courses.

Seriously. I have a sneaking suspicion that most people who watch golf and comment like that on forums have never played a golf course longer than 6300 yards and have never played competitively. Its pretty hard. It seems that a lot of people don't realize how difficult a major really is. Having played competitively for more than 7 years (and having played more than a few tournaments in rain, wind, and on courses longer than 7000 yards), I can't even begin to imagine what playing in a major feels like.
