At home I have my Mac and there's also 2 PCs on a wireless lan.
Now after waking my Mac up from sleep the Network shares don't show, mp matter how long I wait. However, if I close the network browsing window and Cmd+K into one of the shares then look into network browsing the shares show up.
This is weird.
(P.S. I truely hope network browsing is fixed before I buy my Mom an iBook, since I've told her all she has to do is go into Network Neighborhood and see the other PC. I wished it was this easy on the Mac, for her sake)
