My Hard-Drive has crashed and I unfortunately hit the wrong button in iTunes when I connected my iPhone and it whipped everyone of the phone. I have an iPod that has most of my current music and movies on it and would like to extract the media from there and put it into iTunes. Applecare said I could not because the iPod is out of warranty, which really made me mad, because this is not an iPod issue, its iTunes.

Is there anything I can do?

1. Don't blame Apple for your failure to maintain a backup of your files, especially anything you don't have a physical copy of (e.g. CDs & DVDs).

2. There are half a dozen programs to pull your music and movies off your iPod and back onto your computer. Many are shareware/free.

3. As soon as you are done, BACK UP YOUR STUFF.
