It looks like Steve Jobs already returned to work on Apple, this was from this press release from apple about selling more than a million 3GS iPhones (http://www.apple.com/pr/library/2009/06/22iphone.html?sr=hotnews)

Its more like someone faxed over a statement and he signed off on it.

However Jobs was spotted leaving the Cupertino campus today...

More and more I'm finding Reuters harder to believe. Black suits with ear pieces, really? This man has drove himself to work for years. The eye witness account seems a bit odd.
