Saving photos from e-mail on device

When I've selected "save images" to attempt to save photos someone has sent me -- while checking said Yahoo mail on the iPod Touch -- it always saves a blurry version of the image.

Why can't I have the full image saved in my photos area?

I've had similar experiences. I've always attributed it to the resolution being converted to fid the iPod Touch.

I hope they didn't screw this up in the 3.0 update. Photos I've saved from emails in the past have not been resized and alway end up the original size as sent when copied back to my PC.
