I want to get that XEmoji app but i wanted to know if the icons/smily faces show up on other phones to or is it iPhone to iPhone does anyone know???

Only iPhone to iPhone. American carriers (and therefore American mobiles) don't support Emoji. It's a Japanese thing.
My buddy sends them to me all the time and we are both in America. I wanted to set it up, but I'm waiting on instructions from him.

It will probably show up as gibberish, as most phones don't 'understand' what emoji even are.
