Ive heard many people are having this problems who arent on AT&T
is this is a problem the dev team's ultrasn0w? or AT&T is the carrier that hosts the push notification or something like that
does anyone have a working iphone 3G+tmobile+ultrasn0w with working push?
btw i did a search i didnt find a thread about this if there is please lock

That thread wasn't about tmobile specifcally, it seems like he just wanted the push bar to show up

all apple says on the support page for push notifications is that you need a cellular network or wifi to have push notifications...so i dont think you need to have att to get a notification.
here is the link that might help you

Well you don't need AT&T for push on the iPod touch.

I wasn't able to get push to work for me and I'm on AT&T but with a non-iphone data package (I'm on PAYG prepaid with the medianet 100mb package) and couldn't get AIM to notify me of incoming IMs. I had 3G, Edge and Wifi enabled.

Rumor has it if you activated your tmobile iphone with an att sim push will be working.
Can anyone confirm or deny this rumor?

It doesn't matter which network you're on. It's a bug in the redsn0w for the hacktivated devices.
look at this guy tweeted musclenerd about it:

glad that someone knows what's going on. I used Pwnage but I assume it's the same issue.
thanks for the info. Hopefully this can be fixed soon.

Good to know. I hope they figure this out. It would save me a lot of text messaging money. I'm also on an AT&T Pay as you Go plan. Had it since the first iphone was released.
