Will ultrasn0w work with any other carrier or is it just for t mobile? Thanks. I should probably know but I don't

Ultrasn0w has nothing to do with carrier.
It's for iPhone 3G running 3.0 software.....
Jailbreak, then unlock with Ultrasn0w.
No. Wrong. You fail. Don't talk about things you've got no idea about. Ultrasn0w is everything to do with the carriers.
Ultrasn0w should unlock any GSM network for the iPhone 3G on 3.0. T-Mobile, Orange etc.
EDIT:
OK, yes there are some carriers which the iPhone will not do because of bands. But that's a limitation of the iPhone, not a limitation imposed by Ultrasn0w.
What I should have written is that Ultrasn0w isn't restricted to any specific carriers, but the iPhone is. But, since he has a JB/UL iPhone, I figured he was planning on using a carrier that iPhone can handle.

Ultrasn0w should unlock any GSM network for the iPhone 3G on 3.0. T-Mobile, Orange etc. You'll need to Jailbreak with Redsn0w first, then install Ultrasn0w via Cydia or Icy.
And please don't use titles such as yours, add more information next time.

WTF?
I use my local Bell service and everything works, so I don't see why any other ones wouldn't work.

Well, the idea of a forum is to discuss things and help people. How is telling someone false information such as "Unlocking is nothing to do with carriers" helping? That's my problem.

I edited my post to make it "technically" correct and believe it might now pass your inspection.
Edit: Hey Tokiopop, are you OK with my "corrections" ??

It was pretty obvious to me what you meant before you edited. I guess some people FAILED reading comprehension.

Thanks, I absolutely wasn't trying to give incorrect info.
But, I have a thick skin, I will survive.
