So I bought an iPhone proximity sensor off eBay and I got the addresses wrong. My Shipping address' postal code is wrong and the seller had this to say:

2. Please be sure your shipping address is correct. We will only follow your address listed at the PayPal payment for the shipment.

3. Due to the secure reasons, we are not allowed the address change through email. We have no responsibility for shipping address provided.

I dunno what to do now? Help please.

is your postal code the only thing that is wrong? meaning city state street etc?

is it being shipped UPS or USPS?

USUALLY shipping companies are good at deciphering things like this... You could try to get the company to make the change, especially since it's only the postal code..

It's international shipping from China to South Africa from one of those big eBay sellers. So street number etc are all right. just the code is wrong.

In the US, if the street number, name, city and state are correct, the post code could be wrong or completely missing and it will still get there, it may be delayed a bit, but it will still arrive. I don't know what the South African postal service is like, but I'd imagine they would still be able to find your house without it, it might just take longer

Ok I got the seller to cancel and refund. How will I know when I've been refunded? Will it come up on paypal or the credit card or what? I paid directly via credit card through paypal so will the balance go to my paypal account or straight back to the cc? thanks:)
