Black Incipio Feather on backorder; get white one in the meantime

I ordered a Black Incipio Feather yesterday, and just received this email:

I have to say, I have no business getting a case like this. I know the minute I put it on, I'll drop my iPhone on concrete and destroy the screen. ;)

I was perfectly happy with my iSkin Solo until I came to these forums and saw people rave about the Feather.

Safe or sexy? So hard to choose!

That's weird. I just ordered a black one today from their site and put in for overnight shipping. It shipped this afternoon and is scheduled to arrive tomorrow.

Incipio has some of the best customer service i've seen for an online seller.

I lost the video stand that came with my case, so I emailed them to see if they can mail me one, and they said no problem and I received a free 2 pack a few days later!

That's cool. I'd try and order a black one to see if I can score another color for free but I ordered a green one today. I'm sure they'd notice that.

No, the case just comes right up to the edge.

I don't get the need for a "lay on the table" design personally. I'm not knocking it...for me, "lay on the table" means putting my phone on the table with the screen up so I can see it ;)

I've bought from both places before and had good experiences. Bought from Buy.com awhile ago. Their offices are right by me so shipping was pretty quick. MacMall has a distribution center in LA so that was quick too.

Incipio ships pretty fast as well. Although, I was trying to get to their site earlier and it was really slow loading for some reason.

thats why i like the feature because i like to put the phone face down mostly so having the option is great...probably why i'm a huge fan of incase sliders

Here are some pics of the white feather on my black 3G S. It does get a bit dirty but its a really nice looking case and i love the way it looks with the black. Got this case for 5 bucks on sale at the AT&T store. Also kind of nice since it does not have the incipio logo printed on the back.
