The Sims 3, how well would my computer run it?

I'm tempted to buy the sims 3 and before I make the $50 investment I want to make sure my computer will run it decently.

Specs:

CPU 2.4 Intel Core 2 duo
RAM 4gb
GPU Intel GMA x3100

I was more then pleased on how it handled Spore so I'm wondering if anyone with similar settings has tried The Sims 3. If so, from a scale from 1-10 how would you rate the performance.

Don't worry about it.
I have a CE 2.0Ghz and 2GB RAM and it runs fine.
It gets a little laggy sometimes, (esp when fan is running), but for your 4GB RAM and 2.4 Ghz it should run flawlessly.
