I use iWork all the time, not Keynote so much but Numbers and Pages on a daily basis.
I find it frustrating that OS X on the iPhone/iPod Touch doesn't accomidate for these types of files...
...Unless I haven't discovered it yet.
But what's the best way to get Numbers and Pages sheets and documents on to my Touch?
If I could edit them too that would be great, though I guess for starters i'd settle to just view them.
If I can't directly edit them, such as an excel type "Numbers" sheet or an essay i've been working on Pages, whats a good alternative?

the apple mail app supports these attached files
Tap the attachment. It downloads to iPhone and then opens.
The top portion of the message screen showing a message that contains an attachment to tap. To the right is another screenshot of the same message now showing the downloaded image.
You can view attachments in portrait or landscape orientation. If the format of an attached file isn’t supported by iPhone, you can see the name of the file but you can’t open it. iPhone supports the following document types:
.doc:
Microsoft Word .docx: Microsoft Word (XML) .htm:webpage .html:webpage .key:Keynote .numbers:Numbers .pages: Pages
Plus more

Apple is going to do something about this in the next iPod Touch release.
You are not alone on your quest...I can't really help you, sorry.

Well, I guess you could "reply" to your email?
FileMagnet is another app that will bring these docs into your Touch for viewing, but not editing.

Take a look at QuickOffice and Docments to Go. Those two mobile office suit apps can view/edit/create iWork and Office 03/07 files. Just wait a bit, they are still improving upon the current release and adding Excel/Numbers capabilities.
