iPhone email - sometime it doesn't alert

As mentioned above what I have noticed is that sometimes the iPhone email alert (vibrate or ring) won't go off. Sometimes it does. Anybody else facing this. I have the iPhone 3gs.

I have the sounds turned on and vibrate is on as well.
I have gmail setup with 15 Mins intervals

Hi, yes I have experienced a similar issue but only one time that I am sure of. I was holding my phone and felt it vibrate and checked and saw that an e-mail had come in, but there was no sound alert. I checked to make sure the volume was on and it was up all the way. I have not noticed this problem happen again though.

You've experienced it multiple times?
