Gmail and iPhone?

I have loged in sucesfully on my iphone mail app with my gmail account. Only problem is when I check it on my iPhone i do not want it to delete it off the gmail account. If I delete it off of iPhone it goes to trash. I would want Otto stay in all mail folder.

You are going to have to configure gmail to use POP instead of IMAP. IMAP syncs your mail folders with the server so changes are universal. You should be able to log into your gmail account and enable POP. You will also have to change the mail settings on your iPhone.

you can change the location of the trash folder on the iphone to point to the 'all mail' folder, which effectively archives anything you delete.
