youre trying to use the APPLE keyboard with your PC [which i assume means WINDOWS]... and it doesnt work...

i dont think you need any of us to point out the answer to that dilema...

I read on a previous thread that it was possible to use the keyboard on the PC. Just want to know how they did it...

Ok ok, wait, you bought an overpriced Apple KB for a PC? LOLOL. Solution? Buy a Mac or buy a PC KB.

I have successfully used an Apple Pro keyboard (USB) with a PC running Windows 98.

Too bad the wireless one apparently doesn't plug and play that way.

You could search at support.apple.com and see if they have released a driver.

g30ffr3y, Apple's wireless keyboard is cheaper than the BlueTooth PC keyboards I've seen. Admittedly I haven't looked too thoroughly for deals, and it was a few months ago when I looked. I'm not sure why BlueTooth keyboards are so spendy on the PC side. I had to buy a wireless keyboard for work, all the BlueTooth ones were spendy, so I bought the proprietary-tech Logitech one. I wish I had found an affordable BlueTooth one, because the range on the Logitech is pretty short. If I had thought of buying Apple's, I probably would have tried it. That would get the attention of all the people who show up to use that PC for their presentation! :D

Cheers,

Although I don't think you will be able to use it, sadly, I love the fact that you bought it. I own one, and it is hands-down the best bluetooth keyboard money can buy. Its footprint is the smallest of any BT keyboard on the market, and the design is just gorgeous.

Then again, I do have a computer that I can use it with.

I think you should probably call Apple and ask. Even if they can't help you, I'm sure it will make their day. :)

You don't need to use any software from Apple to get it to work. Just make sure your BT antenna is working and pair the devices. That's it. All bluetooth works on the same set of profiles. If your computer supports the bluetooth keyboard profile, it'll work with any bluetooth keyboard without any other software.

(BTW, I've used a Apple BT keyboard with my laptop since I needed the distance. It works just fine.)

Don't go off topic you moron. What does an iSight have to do with a Apple BT keyboard being compatible with a PC.
