Does anybody know if visual voicemail works with TMobile or is it not supported? When I press the voicemail button it just calls my voicemail directly.

Visual Voicemail on iPhone 3G on TMobile?

As far as I'm aware, T-Mobile doesn't have the back-end software/hardware to support visual voicemail on their network. But I'd love to be proven wrong! That's one thing I've never been able to use with my iPhone.

Obviously no visual voicemail on tmobile.
Thats an official carrier feature only.
You just get regural voicemail with tmobile.

There are rumors they are including it next month but not sure if it will be compatible with iphone or if you have to pay extra

If the phone is locked, a little blue window pops up and says, "New voicemail." Also a red indicator ball shows on the Phone app and, once you open the phone app, on the Voicemail tab.
A visual voicemail alternative called Youmail is also available... it's not half bad. Discussed here
