I've been reading through a lot of FAQ's and forums about file sharing over a workgroup network with a PC and have yet to find a solution to my problem. I am unable to access files on my Macbook over the network. I have enabled windows sharing and set my common workgroup, but when I look at my Mac over the network I can only see a "Drop Box" folder which I am unable to access.
A lot of the info out there is for older versions of leopard and from what I can see, a recent update has made some changes to the network sharing options. Unfortunately of what I have been able to find about it hasn't really helped much.
I am able to access my shared files on my pc through my Mac, and I can access my shared files on my Mac when it is in bootcamp. But since I rarely use bootcamp I rarely have the Mac sitting here in Windows.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
