Yes, you can. The max you can upgrade to is 10.4.11. And it should run pretty well. :)

I did it in October of last, worth the upgrade (to 10.4.11).

A warning though, it does act quite a bit slower; mind you I have 800Mgz so yours should act a good 100Mgz Faster ;)

Its good, and worth it if you want your iBook to last that little bit longer. Go do it!

I have the same ibook and trying to do the same thing now. Got the 120g hd, max memory, new battery and ordering the cd combo drive too.

I've had an iBook similar to yours, and ran 10.4.11. It was a bit slow but after all it is a G3. Tiger is miles better than Jaguar anyway.
