iPhone won't turn on

Kinda stuck here.

Had it jailbroken just a day ago. Installed winterboard. It said it had to reset the device I did it. Now it won't turn on.

I tried turning it on but the Apple logo appears for a short bit but then it dissapears and the phone doesn't turn on.

Any ideas?

I am having the same problem but a pineapple appears instead of the apple. My phone wont go any further - NOW WHAT??? PLEASE HELP:eek::confused:

I already ordered a 3Gs but it'll take two weeks:(

I figured it out.

I was doing the DFU recovery wrong. Hold the power and the home button for 10 seconds and then release the power button but keep holding the home button.

It'll give the 'connect to itunes logo' and do a restore with a non modified 3.0 software bundle. I restored it to my latest backup. Lost all the jailbreaking (which is fine) except for the battery percentage.

Now to see if I can cancel my iPhone 3Gs order
