Saying that something is released and not giving a link is not good.
iMac is 2008 or 2009?

That info is already available in your sig. It doesn't state the most important thing - graphics processor.
The 2008 iMac 2.66 has Radeon 2600
The 2009 iMac 2.66 has GeForce 9400 integrated.
Which one do you have?

Just like with any other computer game, no joystick is required.

Thank you for the attention.
I asked it because it will be my first game.

Don't forget that Aspyr's 'GameAgent' download system only allows you to authorise the game on 2 computers in total. ever. So if you install it on a third Mac years from now you're out of luck as machines can't be deauthorised once they've been authorised.
I think the GameAgent system is a great idea but totally crippled by draconian DRM. Personally I'd avoid it like the plague.

Yes, it'll run natively on Intel Macs now. A patch is forthcoming for existing owners to update them to Universal Binaries as well.

Ach! We have an Aspyr guy on our forums?
Also, to the OP, its quite hard to play any first person shooter with a joystick.

First thing I did when I heard about the GameAgent system several months ago.

What does the Deluxe Edition even have apart from the games?

Good?
Thanks.

I've played the originals under Windows... what are you expecting? The original Call of Duty doesn't have anything that later games don't.

The chief draw is that it's a 2-for-1 bundle for people who don't already own it.

I've seen cheat suggestions for the Mac on older versions of Call Of Duty but none of them work for this download deluxe edition. Anybody know how to enable cheats on this new version for Intel Macs?

Do I need to have an old verison of COD before buy this one? Does it worth $30?

I read this thread on Friday and decided to get COD2 for 9 bucks more at Frys Electronics. Well worth it. Great game. Plus, who doesn't like to spend two hours in 'Frys'? ;) It's like a shopping mall for guys.
Let me know if it's worth getting this version though over COD2.

This game is standalone; no prior purchase is required to run it.

The same way as with the older versions, although the method escapes me at the moment. My recollection is that they are not persistent and you have to set them each launch, also that they are not allowed in multiplayer.
I had to enable them during development to do my first few play-throughs, particularly with United Offensive (which I'd never played before).

I bought the digital download so I could play this on an intel mac and the serial nos. I was given do not work.
I contacted gameagent and aspyr. Gameagent "support" seems to be an automated e-mail which persists in sending me the same serial nos. with instructions on how to use them   They can't seem to acknowledge the issue that these numbers do not work. There isn't any way to phone them that I can glean from their website.
Aspyr at least seems to have humans answering me but can offer no solution except to contact gameagent! I have contacted paypal to register a complaint.
Any ideas or suggestions would be most welcome.
UPDATE:
Thanks to Aspyr I was able to get CoD Deluxe working, GameAgent was not very helpful

Anyone have this to comment on it? Graphics? Improved in this new release perhaps somehow? :P
Just wondering if I wanna get it to use my new MBP's power.

Do you guys recommend getting this? Or COD2? The second may have better graphics I presume... but I grew up with COD/COD:UO so I like the nostalgia factor.
