title says :about to buy 4870" but the card is a 4890

you do realize the difference, yes?

4890 is "njector only"......no flash, no boot screen

sorry I meant to post this one:

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-192-AS&groupid=701&catid=56&subcat=939

it comes with a 3 year warranty (most others come with 2y)

and based on your thread a 4pin molex to a 6 pin PCI-e is what I'm after:

http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Peri...n+Molex+to+PCI-E+6Pin+Adapter?productId=17133

would this do? Coupled with the cable that comes with the card that should be all i need?

EDIT: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CB-018-AK&groupid=701&catid=48&subcat=

perhaps better??

if you want both DVI ports working, it is XFX or nothing I'm afraid.

And I wouldn't jack around with the Molex thing if you don't have too.

Get the special Apple Cables, or make your own.
