Whats average batt life on the 2nd gen?

What do y'all average on battery life on the 2nd gen? Why does the battery life on the iPhones last longer than the iPods?

I Use my iPod Touch throughout the day for Internet searches since my parents do not allow me to use a computer. It rarely dies on me. I put mine back in its dock when I'm not using it, though.

It really depends on what you're doing with it.

If you just listen to music, it will last F-O-R-E-V-E-R.

Watching movies and using apps can drain it pretty quickly, as can having Wi-Fi ON.

If you want to keep the battery in good condition, make sure you only charge it when the battery is actually empty. If you always charge it when it is half empty or something like that, then you can actually wreck the battery, and you will have to get it replaced by Apple.
