I've been trying to set the volume at the buffer level using AudioQueueEnqueueBufferWithParameters() and kAudioQueueParam_Volume. This works great on an actual device, but the simulator seems to ignore the volume and always plays everything at 1.0. Anyone else notice this or am I missing something important?
