Staying on 2.2.1 question

I am going to sell my 2G 8GB and was going to upgrade to 3.0 but not sure now.

Currently unlocked and jailbroken with pwnage tool. If i connect the phone to itunes ignore the update to 3.0 and just run the pwnage tool for 2.2.1 again will it be OK. The reason for doing this would mean at the end of the process it will ask to restore as my phone or use as a new one. This will clear everything personal on the phone ready for selling.

Am i correct???:confused:

to make sure that you keep 2.2.1 FW

download the ipsw from on of many sources.
save it to your desktop for quick access.
Hold shift key and click the Restore button (windows) and select the 2.2.1 firmware. Hold option key and click restore (mac)
restore for fresh install.
don't sync for clean install.
