You can change the subscription type from the subscription page (http://forums.macrumors.com/subscription.php):

Firstly the subscription type is listed in the far column:

179620

Select all the threads you want to change and then click on the drop down box at the bottom:

179621

If you want to change the default behaviour of automatically subscribing to threads or not then go to edit options (http://forums.macrumors.com/profile.php?do=editoptions) and choose the behaviour you want:

179622

Thanks, appreciate it.

Another thing iv always wondered when your subscribed to long threads, is there a way to view the thread from where you last posted?

There is but it is a bit clunky.

If you recently posted to a thread you can

Quick Links - My Profile - Find all posts by ...

However that can get tedious if you are a high poster or last posted to that thread a long time ago.

From the subscriptions page you can click on the number of posts to display a list of whose posted

179623

Will bring up (if lots of people have posted you can do a search for your username on that page in the standard way with your browser):

179624

Then clicking on the number next to your username will bring up yet another page where the most recent result is the last post of yours in that thread and you can click on the that to display the thread from your last post.

179625

Quite clunky but I don't think there is a more direct way of doing it (unless of course I have missed something very very obvious).
