Best Iphone 3gs car mount option besides proclip

Ok I have been searching the net for an adjustable car mount for my iphone
3gs. I have a otterbox and only use it on the weekdays.

I want a mount that can accomodate the otterbox and also when I am not using the case.

The proclip is the best I have found but it is obviously the most expensive mounting option. Is there another option out there that I have not come across that can do the same thing but cheaper?

I just posted a thread with a description and pictures (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=952069) of my Custom install of PED3-Auto Mount from ThoughtOut.biz in Nissan Versa (w/ photos). Not sure if it works with the otterbox but it does work with some cases. Even without doing the custom installation, I think its a mount worth considering. Check it out if you're interested.
