Will I have to restore my unlocked iphone if switching from mac to pc?

I use macs, and I am selling my old 3g phone. I unlocked it using ultrasnow on my mac. My question is, is if the person I sell the phone to has a pc, will they have to restore the phone, taking out the ultrasnow unlock? I plan on warning them not to restore/update their phone after I sell it to them.

Yes that individual will be fine. I switch from osx to windows all the time and you dont have to restore it to work with either or, its universal
