Hi

This is gonna be a real noobish question as such.

I have never ever seen a picture of a Mac Pro with any of the two drive bays open, when/how do they open ?

Optical drives, or hard disk drive bays?

For the optical drives, the plain aluminum cover is pushed down mechanically, inside the perforated front panel, out of the way, as the conventional tray drawer emerges.

Hard drives:

congrats :)

it's also worth pointing out that you can put any drive in there so long as you take the panel off of the disc tray (so that it fits through the gap).

I think it's option-eject to open the 2nd drive.
