Hi, im new to these forums but not to the iphone, I just JB'd my 3G with redsn0w because the pwnage tool wasnt working for me, and then i unlocked it with ultrasn0w, anyway i will be going on a trip to mexico soon and i wanted to know if the SIM cards from Telcel will work on my iPhone when i go over there please help me thanks in advance

Yes, if you got ultrasnow installed on 3.0 any simcard will work from any country.

I thought about doing this for my recent trip to Cancun. I couldn't, though, since I left before ultrasn0w was released. I ended up going with AT&T's Mexico International plan. At $4.99 per month, or $1.25 pro-rated for the week, and .59 cents a minute for 26 minutes, I ended up accruing about $17 in charges.

Anybody out there know how far $17 would go with a Telcel SIM card?

That's ~170 pesos and texts are 1 peso each and I believe it's about 3 pesos per minute so you couldve talked about 57 minutes for that much AT&T and tmobile international plans are wack they charged me $400 one time for roamng web service lol thanks for the help
