There was a new version of the official Skype application this morning. But Push Notification was noticeably absent.

Skype is my main IM application, so this was a big disappointment.

I'm keeping my hopes up that they'll allow this. I don't know, somewhere deep down inside I really doubt they'll ever release push (keep us logged in).

I just voiced my frustration in the App Store with a negative review. Really unhappy about this.

Heh. I'm sure they're well aware of people wanting push already :)

Not sure why Apple call them "reviews" anymore :p

I'm more concerned with the audio quality. It's near useless when calling some countries.

I've called my own cell to leave a message and the audio is a little muffled but still understandable... but when I call my family in Portugal, they tell me it's completely incomprehensible.

Is it just calling Portugal or does anybody else have this problem?
