eDesignUK.net (http://edesignuk.net)

Not much there at the moment. It's a personal website, so it's not really supposed to offer anything. Just doing it for the fun of it really. Started work on it last night, been tweaking the blog (powered by blogger.com) most of today to get it looking right, and making sure it renders correct in the major browsers (IE, Safari, Firefox).

What do you think?

Thank you :) I've just got the blog setup properly, and I think I've ironed out the bugs that kept poping up...for now!

Make the length of your sentences shorter. I don't mean less words, but the layout. I think laying out text in column is much more readable.

This is a good point. Similarly on the main page and other pages in your basic style, if (?) you can trim the graphics for the menu words at the top and space them with HTML, so that you can let the whole window shrink/grow and acommodate it with the width of your page to a limited extent, this would be an improvement. My Safari window, at about 75% width on a 1024x768 screen, is just a tiny tad too narrow to accommodate your layout. Probably wouldn't affect win users as much, who probably do full screen, but it seems like less mac users run apps at full screen, because of the way the GUI is setup....

Otherwise I'd recommend sizing the whole thing to...dunno, maybe about two thirds of a 1024 screen? That should be safe.

I decided to go for 800px wide, this way it should be fine for almost anyone to view.

I was surprised you didn't go the XHTML CSS route. Still HTML 4.01 transitional is good too.

Running it through the W3C validator here (http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fedesignuk.net%2F)

woo, not sure what your coding ethics are like, either way I like your site so far. :)

I think the quote is about vengence is terrific....it would make a great

ad for the election of John Kerry............with pictures appropriate

to the last 3+ years of living under Herr Bush.

The website looks great, but I can't believe you thought The Day After Tomorrow was brilliant.

It was increadibly corny, and for that reason, in my book, it can be nothing better than mediocre :).

But, yeah, the site is great. I, too, like the yellow on black scheme. That scheme + Uma Thurman give it an almost Kill Bill kind of feel. I like it :).
