web2go t-mobile plan required with iphone?

hello, i just got an iphone 3g and unlocked it to be used with t-mobile. on my account i have the unlimited web and text plan. i thought this would work just fine with my iphone, but when i go to safari it brings up this site that says "you are currently subscribed to a web2go(sm) plan" none of my other apps work with edge either. can anyone help me out?

What do you have set as the APN? I use internet2.voicestream.com

and this works just fine with Total Internet plan.

i have tried that and wap.voicestream.com and neither of them work. there is no edge option under network just "cellular data network" that is where the apn that i am entering is. Does it make any difference that i am running 3.0?

reset your network settings. settings>general>reset>reset network settings. that should work. are you using the prepaid sidekick plan? thats what I use and it works just fine

I just downgraded from the black berry unlimited plan and unlimited messaging (total $34.99) to the web2go unlimited messaging and internet ($19.99). I am using internet2.voicestream.com for the APN with data roaming on and everything including apps is working fine. I was using epc.tmobile.com before and my apps stopped working but upon the switch everything "came back to life".
