How do the different capacity options relate to storage.
By this I mean....
-does this apply to music storage as well as apps?
-can you quantify (loosely) how much info we are talking about?
-is there a microSD slot to add capacity?

Yes both music and Apps
16GB is about 4,000 songs

Now....I like playing with different apps.....can you give me an idea of the difference when discussing apps instead of songs?

Not really, the Apps all vary in size, Myst was over 1.5GB when it was first released others will be 1-2MB. It's just like apps on a computer, they all take up different amounts of space.

Are you talking about the sizes of apps? There is a large range, anywhere from 0.5 MB to over a GB. Go to iTunes and check our t some you're interested in. The size of each app is listed on the detail page.

These answers do it. I didn't know if the apps were in the Mb or Kb range.
