I am in the midst of doing some research for a professor on this topic. He is specifically wanting me to work with Intel software and components for multi-core processing.
I have already installed Intel's Parallel Studio and playing around with it.
Right now, I'm trying to figure out which API to use, MPI or OpenMP? I am pretty good in both, but for my report (due in 2 weeks) I kinda want to know what I should focus on.
Any suggestions?
