Bad time to buy an iPod?

Hi, My Birthday is on June 13 and my Mom and Dad wanted to know what I want, and I've always wanted an iPod. But with all of the rumors of a new iPod, is it a bad time to buy? Is it known when the new iPods are coming out? Do you think it is worth the wait, or should I just ask for the current iPod? :confused: :confused:

ya i know when the new ipods are coming out.

if you want an ipod get one, the next version will be far more than an ipod, and have a 3 month long waiting list.

If you are the type of person that will be mad if a new iPod is announced at WWDC in late June --- Wait.

There is a good chance of an announcement.

Probablly won't see the delays that the iPod mini has had. Larger 2.5" hard drives are easy to come by. Toshiba screwed-up Apple with the 4GB hard drive in the mini.
