i love the remote app on my ipod touch. is there any way possible to reverse this process as in, use my mac to control what song is being played on my ipod.

i like to hook up my ipod touch to my sound system which could be across the room or in another room and would love to be able to use my mac to control it....

any ideas? is this possible?

thanks:apple:

You'll probably have to write the app yourself. I don't see the point though. Your mac has bluetooth, so get a bluetooth adapter for your stereo, then send audio over bluetooth from either your touch or Mac, with full control of what's being played on whichever device you're using.

If you're jailbroken and you want to control completely your device from your mac you can use Veency from cydia and any VNC client on your mac and you're done :)
