customize app is not working ? and installer help ?

everytime i try to save changes it says
strings cannont be saved ?
anyone know how i can fix this ??
i have 2g ipod touch....

oh and i think i deleted my installer when i first jailbreaked my ipod
now i want it back but on cydia it only has the french installer ?
does anyone know how to get the english version ??

i had customize on my first gen and second gen iPod touch on 2.2.1. i was having the same problem. i updated to 3.0 but customize isnt compatible on the 3.0 firmware. it was really pissing me off cuz i loved customize. as for your installer problem, rejailbreak? maybe if you just rejailbreak without restoring it, it might keep all your stuff and just add installer. i dont really know so dont do that unless you know it will work

why are people still going on about customize? the program hasn't worked properly since it was updated for 2.0 and now it's a dead project

customize is (or was) the epic ****. that was in my top 3 favorite jailbroken app. i was pissed when it stopped working =( maybe they should put the old working version on cydia. if they did i would downgrade back to 2.2.1

if the old working version was hosted it would be useless because it wouldn't be compatible with 2.0 or 3.0 :rolleyes:
