2-person multiplayer game?

My girlfriend and I live a ways apart (i.e. in different countries at the moment), and we're thinking it would be cool to play a multiplayer game together. What would you guys suggest for a 2-person online multiplayer game? Windows preferably, since she hasn't gotten a Mac just yet (soon, though:cool:)

Warcraft 3. It can be fun to co-op against the computers. If you're a noob bewary of Battle.net though. You will get beat badly, a lot. It'll get you ready for Starcraft 2.

Get World of Warcraft. You can both get the standard 10 day free trial and it works with both mac and pc. Sounds like the best choice for you atm.

I was thinking about this too. The 10 day trial doesn't sound too bad. The warcraft 3 idea is good as well. I'd even throw out there startcraft.
