I've seen several references online to running the original Baldur's Gate for Mac using a program called BGTutu. Unfortunately, BGTutu for Mac seems to have evaporated off the Internet.
I've got the original game, but haven't been able to play it since my OS 9 days. Wouldn't mind firing it up again for old time's sake. Does anyone have access to BGTutu for Mac, or know of an alternate way to run the game under OSX?
Thanks in advance, Mac Geniuses.
closest i got was this

i thought it would be easier, expected it all to be on the gibberlings site but seems not
asking in the forums at gibberlings would probably work tho
not sure why they call it easytutu dont look easy

Hey, Aki,
Here's a very belated (but very big) Thank You!
I won't say it was easy, but I got Baldur's Gate up and running under EasyTutu using the link you provided, and it's running like a champ.
Thanks again for your help!

I remember trying to get BGtutu to work once and I ended up having to ask on a forum and dig up some files from somewhere. It's a couple of years ago now, and I ended up not installing bgtutu since I just figured it'd be easier to just play it in os 9.
If you can't find anything I could probably see if I still have backup of the files and the info I gathered on any of my old HDs. (I try to keep files that I suspect will be very hard to come over again)
UPDATE:
I believe the forum I found help at, was Team macBG, mentioned here (http://www.insidemacgames.com/news/story.php?ArticleID=8546).
Unfortunately, the site seems to be offline: link (http://ire.mainecoon.net/).
Also, this (http://loriel.byethost18.com/index.php) site might prove be useful.
EDIT: somehow I missed out your last post. Oh well, might be of interest for someone so I'll just leave it like it was.
