Any word: New iPod date

Has anyone heard any timeframe for the new iPod? See by the Buyers Guide that the time is approaching, but I haven't found any discussion of (speculated) actual dates.

With the untimely demise of my iPod today, I'm a motivated buyer. :rolleyes:

Nothing confirmed. Probably know more end of June at the WWDC..

would think it would even be after WWDC maybe in august or september since apple most likely will be updating iMacs and powermacs at WWDC so updating ipods too would be quite a bit of updates

But speaking of iPods...yesterday was my lucky day.

I called Apple about my 3rd gen 10gb iPod I sent in and they are sending me a brand new 3rd gen 15gb iPod this week! Then later on the evening I found out that I won a contest from the radio station here in town and won a 40gb 3rd gen iPod! YES! I was SO excited. I am going to be selling them both and setting that money aside for the 4th gen iPod..Whenever that may be...

I think iPod updates will hold off until they get all the problems with the mini straightened out. I could see iPods and Music being more talked about at the Expo in September.
