The free version of the new push-notification enabled to-do list is out! Tested with a couple of reminders already and it works great. Guess its nothing I couldn't do with a few more steps with the calender though.....

The first personal ToDo reminder utilizing the newest Apple's Push technology available only on the iPhone OS 3.0. NotifyMe lets you quickly create personal reminders, notifications and alerts with easy snoozing when needed. With New reminder screen on startup and auto-keyboard option enabled, you are only two finger taps away from setting a new timed reminder with optional sound notification.

Edit: paid no-limit version due any day now apparently....

i've been keeping up with their twitter updates for a while awaiting this release. One of the only reasons i use my calendar is to set up reminders, so this app is perfect for me.

Can't wait for the paid app to be released now, so i can set up all my reminders (not just 3 at a time) and get rid of that annoying nag screen at the start!

How is this different from the calenders app?

Figured I'd try out before I say anything.

After testing I don't see an advantage to using this app over built in calendar.

It uses push system but being that calendar already displays a badge and alert on time of event don't see point. I can also customize the alert more in calendar and add events from ical.

I think it's cool but unless I just didn't want to put thinks in cal don't see a purpose.

Not bad at £2.39. I think I'd personally use this over the calendar app because its basically a to-do list, with categories - I mean, why does anyone use to-do lists over the calendar?! I use my calender for main events, not things like put the rubbish out!

This is exactly why I'd use this.
I'm not going to put "Feed Dog" for example into iCal, it would just make it cluttered and messy. This is nice and simple, and I'm loving the categories. Also a very visually pleasing app which is great to see :)

I agree. While I've been using Todo (Appigo), I find this UI much more polished.

NotifyMe is awesome!!! The UI is sleek and looks professional...love the categories and the background -- like a spotlight shining on my Todo list. NotifyMe replaced two of my apps that does the same thing. I'm looking forward to their upcoming updates. Keep up the great work!

While I like the categories UI I was extremely annoyed at the fact that there is no notes section, or project sectio where you can put different tasks. You have one field to type your stuff in and it's very limiting in that respect.

After a few days of sale, it already took 10th place already in productivity top paid (just behind Bento) on UK App Store.

great app , i bought it and am using it right now. Nice interface and well it works great. Just adding some comments , maybe the ability to customize your categories would be nice and well the icon of the app doesnt really matches the sleekness inside in :p just my 2 cents ;) keep up the good work , looking forward to more
