I am using VMware fusion 2 to play Medieval 2 total war on my umacbook 2.0.
The game works fine when i log in, but once i get in game, the ocean on the game map is black and white and then the entire screen loses pixelation when i scroll.
what is the cause of this?
thanks

You need bootcamp. If you don't own a Windows license I suggest download the Windows 7 RC from Microsoft and preordering Windows 7 Home Premium for $49.99 on Amazon. That is 50% off the retail price.

The last Leopard update also broke Direct X support in Fusion so that could be the problem.

There's never been Direct X support under Virtualization, so I dont know what your thinking of.
Two reasons why gaming under VM (Virtual Machines, not VWFusion specifically) doesnt work:
1) No Direct X support
2)Graphics Card is not given access to VM, only CPU (There arent any GPU Instructions like there are CPU Instructions...)

Fusion virtualizes Direct X for 3D gaming, the last Leopard update broke (http://communities.vmware.com/community/vmtn/desktop/fusion?view=discussions) it
