So i got swapped my Mac mini for a MacBook today with my friend. I love it. Its an awesome computer. But the screen has about 6 stuck pixels! 2 are big and the others are quite small. The notebook is covered under AppleCare until 2011. So if i take it to the Apple reseller near me, will they repair it???(they helped me out with my Mac mini before)

Thanks, Joe.

The Apple Store should fix it.

Great, Another thing to note is that it had its Combo drive and case replaced. I got it sealed from my friend.

If they are stuck, there are some software solutions you can try to "unstick" them

You can try Pixel Murder (http://itasor.com/pixelmurder.mov) for one

I am sure there are others

+1 for pixel murder.
I ran it on my iPod Touch but it turns out the two pixels are defective. It has worked on my brother's MBP though.

All your pixels are the same size, so I guess I don't understand what you mean by that.

In any case, with that many of them and AppleCare coverage, I do think Apple will be willing to fix the problem.

Sorry, that's probably the wrong way to say it. If i move about a meter away from the Mac, i can still see them.

I just took my '06 MacBook in to the Tucson AZ Apple Store today w/ a few stuck pixels and a hairline crack below the trackpad. They agreed to replace both under AppleCare w/out much pressure on my part. A single pixel wouldn't have got me a new display (said Genius Bar Brandi) but a cluster of 3-4 did the trick.
