I'm kind a new here, and am not sure this is the right place for this but here goes:
I've got a G4 iBook model a1134 14" screen 1.42 GHz with a screwed up screen, kind of smeary colors all over it and half the screen is not visible. When hooked up to a display, all is well, but it ain't much of a laptop if I have to carry a display around too.
Anyway I've found a 14" G3 800 MHz model a1007 screen that I'm told will work on my G4, but I would like confirmation of that. I've also learned that the connector for 14" screens could either have a 1" wide connector, or a 1.5 inch wide connector.
So, I'd like to know if anyone on the forum has information or experiences in this situation.
