Alright, first, I hate to post something like this, but I'm really stumped.

My cousin's engagement party was July 4th night, him, a couple of his friends, my(and his) cousins, and me were there.

My brother and I were talking to this girl who was there. She was 26, I'm 15. Obviously not the main topic here. But she thought that I'd be perfect for her sister (sweet right?). Well, she got on my phone, and went into the Facebook app, and friend requested her sister on my profile. Okay, but she didn't send a message. Her sister accepted "my" request.

I don't want to seem like a stalker or something, because she doesn't know who I am, so I want to send her a message. But, I have no idea what to say. I don't want to be like "Hi, your sister wants me to date you, okay bye". That'd just be awkward for the both of us. But I really have no idea what to say.
Any suggestions?
Oh, by the way, I want to send her a message, not right on her wall, or chat with her. I don't like the Wall writing because everybody can see it (Well, our mutual friends- which oddly, we have about 5 of), and I just don't like the in-built chat.

So yeah. I just need help on the first message to send her.

You probably shouldn't say, "Hey, the people on Macrumors told me to say..." ;)

I would keep it short and simple, and open-ended. You want to get her to talk to you. Maybe a "Hi, how's it going?" or something. Does she list interests in her profile? Maybe comment on one of those; "Hey, I don't care that Michael Jackson died either!" or something.

side note: What happened to the days where people actually talked to each other face to face??

Well, see, I would have no problem saying something like "Hey, How's it going?", but then I'd seem like a creeper on Facebook that adds random people, because she doesn't know that her sister told me to add her.

Oh, right. Well I'd definitely be up front about why you friended her in some way. "Hi, your sister thought we would get along. " That's innocent enough.

Yeah, but that still seems very awkward, for both of us.

I mean, what would her response be to that, "Hi".
Then our conversations would end, and we'd never talk again.

This. Make it clear that her sister added her on your profile...you're clearly not a random facebook stalker that way. Her sister could have told her in person as well.

Well, we (her sister and I) went over this that night.

She said "I'm not in this, I won't tell her anything, I just think you two would be great together. It's your job to win her"

I wouldn't worry about appearing to appear a stalker - she accepted your friend request without even knowing who you are! Maybe she saw your picture and thinks you are cute :) - I'd say you already have your in, just do a "Hey how's the summer going for you" type of thing on her wall and get the conversation rolling.

If you want to keep it private, then send the email - but I'd probably be more creeped out about a "friend" that I never met sending me an email rather than a friend writing something friendly on my wall :)

..unfortunately, she can't see my face from my picture.

It's a pretty zoomed out picture of me snowboarding, with a helmet and everything.

Well then maybe she liked your snowboarding picture :)
Maybe she spoke with one of your 5 mutual friends who told her that you were cool. I think you have an in already - you just need to strike up the convo, which I continue to suggest should be casual for the initial "meeting".

Yeah, I don't really talk to one of our 5 mutual friends that much. :(.

But, I'm just confused as to what to say on the first message.

You think way too much. Just say hi and tell her you know her sister.

But, I'm just confused as to what to say on the first message. How about something like,

"Hi, your sis added you as a friend on my Facebook. She said you'd be a cool person to know. How's it going?"

Oh, you'd better be right, I just sent her a message with the corrections above.
