And on the following page of the article, Panther was named best OS!

Panther's sleek interface and reliable performance are impressive. Although we aren't suggesting that you ditch your hardware and buy a Mac, Apple deserves credit for raising the bar for OSs. And we hope Microsoft is paying attention as it works on the next Windows.

Perhaps itís new to the PC world, but itís not really a newcomer. Just because the PC world closes his eyes before Mac achievements doesnít mean theyíre not there.

if you read on further though, you find that they have voted top mp3 player as some crappy rio, the ipod came a 'close' second.

That crappy rio has a dock with built in ethernet and rca outs... kinda cool.

Interesting article, hopefully it'll turn some heads.

if they think iTunes tracks are incompatable they are mistaken, they can import as mp3s if they wanted to, thus making them fine to use with other players, only iTMS tracks are incompatable because they are AAC protected...

It was a great review until this half-truth.

Tracks purchased from ITMS are incompatible with digital audio players other than Apple's own iPod. Tracks your rip from CDs, however, are portable. Even AAC is supported by some third party players (http://www.panasonic.com/consumer_electronics/ewear/sd_audio_players.asp).
