Can't have anymore fun with white powder these days.
Used to leaving a few lines of it sitting on somebody's desk would lead people to think drugs.
Now the whole building clears out and they bring in the hazmat unit in bunny suits, and people run off to the hospital complaining about all sort of terminal symptoms. :rolleyes:

As cheezy as it sounds, putting glitter on a keyboard works really well. Very hard to clean up and if you work with an anal retentive office-mate, MAN do they get pissed because they will wind up with glitter stuck to their face, shirt, you name it. Very simple and very effective.

I hope there was an "inside joke" in all of this. Covering someones entire desk are with tin foil just for the heckof it doesn't seem that funny to me.

you crazy kids ... this is just a natural evolutionary thing, this started as a dorm prank. You can always fill the room with easter grass, or put sticky notes all over or put thousands of half filled paper cups in the cubicle.
for other future ideas check out;

there as many funny dorm pranks over the summer but if you check the dorm category from the previous year you'll see some funny things. Filed with packing peanuts was great too.

It's been done before: How To Wrap Your Friend's Apartment in Tin Foil (http://www.blacktable.com/elder040114.htm)Thanks, Flowbee. Ever since I saw this thread, I was trying to remember where to find those apartment photos. That prank was much more elaborate than this one. There just isn't that much stuff in a Dilbert cubicle. For the apartment prank, they wrapped every book, every CD, and even the entire toilet paper roll!

Speaking of the over reacting to white powder, a package of "imported" flour created problems at a Honeywell facility here in town today. :rolleyes:

haha, ditto! You know, a friend of mine actually bought one of those red Swingline's after that movie came out. He always keeps it out on his desk, lol, I've been known to take it and freak him out every once in a while.

Nor me.
But then I've always preferred long-term psychological trauma to a mere office prank .... I'm kinda old fashioned in that way ... :)

It would've been evern better if you would've wrapped every individual key on the keyboard, that way he could still type if he was a touch typist. Or, if he wasn't a touch typist and wanted to type, he'd have to take alot of tiny pieces off his keyboard. :D

Very interesting. I like the pictures best that have the gold look. On the positive side, they must really care about this coworker. In my estimation no one would go to that much work if they didn't. At least I would only go to that much trouble for true friend.

From the photos, it looks like he didn't mind his shiny new office, and just unwrapped the minimum necessary to do his work.

hahaha, fantastic
reminded me of this time i went on a sort of date with this cute chick from long island (don't ask) and i think we ended up at tgi fridays with her (hot female) friend (again, don't ask). whilst there we noticed a car in the car park being completely covered in cling wrap... later on, we see an employee running outside to see what had happened to his motor...was hilarious :)
the tin foil one's better though, by far.
