View Full Version : How do I know if my JB phone is Unlocked.

I am traveling abroad and want to use my old iphone 2g. I jailbroke it using redsnow running the 3.0 software. How do I know if the unlock worked. I have cydia and I checked unlock. Is there anyway to know for sure that my phone is unlocked without inserting a new sim card. I don't want to have to screw with it when I am away and want to know it will work when I install the sim card.

You can't. Can't you find a friend's sim card to try in it? :)

Everyone I know has AT&T or verizon.

Can't you get a pay as you go sim from the 7Eleven?
