I couldn't find this info on Apple's site, and I'm at work so I can't call the 1800 number right now.

Does anyone know what the time period is to add AppleCare after purchase? If I can add it later then I can go ahead and order my powerbook tonight :D

I'm pretty sure that you can add AppleCare at any point during the first year.

One Year Manuf. Warranty as in repairs, shipping back to Apple, etc.
90 days of phone tech support. With AppleCare, phone support extends throughout the year and 2 more yrs. is tacked onto the initial warranty.

You get 90 days of free phone support. Your warranty covers 1 year parts and labor on your machine, you can extend the warranty whenever you want during that year. However if you even go one day past that year you cannot extend the warranty so if you do wait make sure keep track of when you bought your computer.
